Programs
What happens in a session
Athletic Development
Speed, strength, power, balance, coordination, agility and movement quality, coached in every session and layered to build on each other.
In a session
- Sprint mechanics and first-step acceleration
- Jumping, landing and change of direction
- Age-appropriate strength with bodyweight, bands and light loads
- Balance and coordination games that don't feel like drills
Performance Testing
Athletes are tested periodically on the areas above, so progress is something we measure together, not something we assume.
In a session
- Sprints, jumps and strength tests in the first and last session of a block
- Results land in the parent portal the same day
- Baseline, latest and personal best side by side
Mindset Development
Confidence, resilience, effort, handling mistakes, preparing for competition and becoming coachable, worked on the same way physical skills are.
In a session
- Short talks after hard efforts, not lectures
- Handling a mistake and resetting fast
- Setting one goal per block and checking it together
Nutrition Education
Age-appropriate education on protein, carbohydrates, hydration, recovery and fueling around training, building habits rather than handing out meal plans.
In a session
- What to eat before and after training
- Hydration and sleep as part of recovery
- Habits kids can own, no meal plans or weighing
A typical 60-minute session
The structure stays the same so athletes know what's coming. The content changes with the block and the group.
- 10minWarm-up and movement prepMobility, skips and games that switch the body on.
- 15minSpeed and agilityStarts, sprints and change of direction, coached rep by rep.
- 20minStrength and powerJumps, throws and strength work matched to age and level.
- 10minConditioning gameCompetitive work that builds the engine to repeat efforts.
- 5minCool-down and mindsetOne takeaway for the week and this week's drill.
How a block works
- 1Week 1Baseline testingWhere your athlete starts. Results in the portal that day.
- 2Weeks 2 to 7Train and buildWeekly sessions, coach's notes and a drill to practice at home.
- 3Week 8RetestCompare against the baseline and see what moved.
Who it's for
- Kids and teens who already play a sport and want to be faster, stronger and more confident in it
- Athletes coming back from a break who need a solid base again
- Beginners: every exercise is scaled, nobody needs to be "in shape" to start
Each class lists its age range. Not sure which fits? Register for the closest one and the head coach will get in touch if another class suits better.

Questions parents ask
Does this replace team practice?
No. Athlete Factory complements the sport your kid already plays. We build the athlete underneath it, so practice and games go better.
Is strength training safe for kids?
Yes, when it's coached and age-appropriate. We start with bodyweight and technique and only add load when movement quality is there.
How do I see progress?
Every family gets a private portal with test results, coach's notes, the weekly drill and photos from training, plus notifications when something new is posted.
Can we join after a block has started?
Yes. The price is pro-rated for the sessions that are left, and you see the exact amount before you pay.
Why no quick results?
Because the habits that last are built slowly. We'd rather see steady progress over a year than a big jump that disappears.
How do I pay?
By credit or debit card at registration, or by Interac e-Transfer. With e-Transfer we hold the spot for 48 hours while the payment arrives.
